Redistribution of Land, Wealth and Nationalization does not start or end with Julius Malema. PAC, AZAPO, BCM were seen as radical polititians during CODESA when they cried "LAND FIRST AND ALL SHALL FOLLOW". South Africa will never achieve total freedom as long as the majority of our people live in poverty and are denied job opportunities especially in the private sector irrespective of their qualifications. The Ideal of Nationalization will not disappear with the silencing of Malema.
It's high time that the wealthy few of this nation understand that black people are not only good enought to mann till points at Pick 'n Pay, Spar, Shoprite etc while their white kids are given Managerial Positions it those companies.
The Government cannot afford to be the only place where black people can have equal opportunities while their blood and sweat build this nation. Correct me if I'm wrong but after achieving freedom I don't expect to see only black people working as Petrol attendants, Shop Assitants, Waiters/waitresses, Cleaners etc. Are black people that illeterate that they can only be employed in inferior positions? Apartheid may be gone but it is alive and well in the private sector, ownership of mines, banks, big business and land has made white people create their own parallel government where they can exploit black people and turn them into slaves. It is our responsibility to break the circle of poverty by claiming what is rightfully ours and we should start with the Land and Mines because they are the source of wealth for the white minority. Black companies are not given equal opportunities in terms of tenders offered by mines yet white people expect the government to do away with tenders in the Public Sector. White people dislike BEE because it brings black people closer to them in terms of wealth and assets ownership, white people are already runnig out of space to create their "Volkstaat" cause black people accumulate property faster than they imagined and thus cram them for space in their formerly "white only suburbs". The saga surrounding Julius Malema was not sparked by the mansion he was allegedly building in Sandton but by the curiosity which continues to spark our nation everytime a young black person invests in property followed by the now popular phrase of "Another Tenderpreneur is in town".
If the wealthy white people of this nation do not intend to change their mindset about Land and Mines I feel sorry for them cause the generation of negotiators is now in the endangered species phase and the future leaders of this country will not settle for crumbs while they are the ones who bake the bread. They can attempt to discredit the future leadership with cheap media stunts but they will never destroy the vision and ideal of equal wealth which was blatantly ignored during CODESA.
If Apartheid/Collonialism was any good for South Africa the present government would not need to build any infrustructure and the majority of our wealth would be channelled into making the future citizens of this country more educated and self sufficient. Yet after seventeen years the government is still busy with provisioning of basic services like Water, Electricity, Housing, Schools, Clinics, Roads, Community Halls, Sanitation. I don't even think that if any white dominated government can take over this country tomorrow they will continue providing all those services.
I hate to think about the number of black faces that I see everytime I enter the chain stores like Pick n' Pay, Shoprite, Spar, Checkers, Pep Stores, Ackermans the list is endless but yet you will never find those stores placed anywhere in our rural areas where the vast majority of this country's poor people live. Rural communities have to spend their little hard earned money on transportation first before they can start feeding themselves cause all the resources have been strategically placed far from their reach to ensure that their money is exhausted before they can enjoy it.
Old and sick black people are paid the same amounts in social grants as their white counterparts yet white people can walk to the Malls while old black people are expected to ride to the cities in taxis, buses and trains where their money is reduced to peanuts before they can buy basic food stuffs.
Farms workers are the worst in this situation, they are the people who feed this nation and yet they are the most underpaid people cause the farm owners pocket the majority of the earnings and let their employees live in poverty. Farm workers are not afforded any opportunities in terms of aquiring skills which leaves them at the mercy of their employers for the rest of their lives because they cannot be empoyed at any other place without education or qualifications. This leads to generations and generations of farm employees working for a single family which gets wealthier and weathier while they become poorer and poorer and end up evicted from the farm when the next generation of owners turn their farms into hospitality establishments and leave the families homeless and poor.
We all know that white people were given land by the government free of charge after WWII and during Apartheid era with their force removals and Group Areas Act.

SERENITY PRAYER
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world

NATIONALIZATION IS NOT NEGOTIABLE
Silencing Julius Malema will not destoy the ideal of Nationalization and Wealth redistribution. Nationalization does not start or end with Malema, it is a South African issue PAC, AZAPO, BCM have fought for it and cried "Land first and all shall follow" but they were blatantly ignored by CODESA.
We cannot continue to be fed with crumbs while we are the one's baking the bread. Black people cannot continue to be seen as good enough only as petrol attendants or mann till points at Pick n' Pay, Spar, Shoprite, Checkers etc while white people are seen as good managers even without education.
As long as South Africa remains as it is in terms of economic inequality, I shall continue to support people like Julius Malema,
The Government cannot continue to be the highest employer in a country where they do not even own the economy and are expected to make policies Investor Friendly while only the minority benefit from the so called "investments".
White people cannot continue to create their own parallel government based on wealth accumulation while they taunt our goverment as being unable to deliver services to the nation. 30% of our graduates cannot continue to be unemployed while others work only at places like Spur, Wimpy, KFC, Chicken Licken, Nandos etc while the white school leavers are guaranteed permanent employment at major companies without any sweat.
South Africa will never be free as long the wealth of this country is in hands of the minority and the majority continues to be kept away from the mainstream economy.
I wish the wealthy minority of this country, the beneficiaries of Apartheid, CODESA and Truth and Reconcilliation can wake up and smell the coffee. They should start negotiating a better deal now because I don't see the future leadership of this country sitting down to negotiate what is rightfully theirs. The notion of "Scaring away investors" will no longer hold water cause true investors will want to invest in the most important resources of the country which is it's Nation.
Many people have harvested the mineral resource of this country under the pretence of "Investing" while in truth they are milking this country's wealth while it's nation continues to live in poverty.
True investors and not harvestors will survive Nationalization. This country cannot continue to be a bench warmer in the Global Economy while foreigners and the minority milk this nation to enrich their white partners in Europe an America.
FORWARD WITH NATIONALIZATION FORWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MOELETSI MBEKI: A HYPOCRITE OR VISIONARY
In all his work, he distinguished himself as a scholar, a disciplined cadre, a builder and a teacher. Few political activists in our movement have paid such attention to the indigenous application of the science and theory of Marxism to South African realities and conditions. He built and sustained a tradition of excellent political journalism and theoretical writing. His book, The Peasants Revolt was a major historical study of peasant struggles in Pondoland and Sekhukhuneland. He came out of Robben Island having published several books and having written many articles used for lectures internationally. Indeed, he was one of the great Marxist writers of the previous century.
The above editorial was quoted directly from SA History online in which they describe and pay tribute to Govan Archibald Mvuyelwa Mbeki former SA Head of Senate and father to Thabo and Moeletsi Mbeki.
Moeletsi Mbeki is the brother of former State President Thabo Mbeki and the son Govan Mbeki a former journalist, writer, political prisoner, First Head of Senate and National Council of Provinces and a staunch Communist.
Firstly let's look at Moeletsi Mbeki's resume: A Harvard Graduate, Chairman of Endmol TV Production, one of South Africa's biggest Television Production Companies. Former Commentator for BBC, Director of Comzar (Company responsible rehabilitation of railway networks all over Africa), former Media consultant for the ANC and a writer like his elder brother and father. Currently based at Wits University.
Moeletsi Mbeki is a strong critic of the ANC government and BEE as a policy to bridge the gap between the black and white economic imbalances in South Africa. Moeletsi has continously claimed that he detest BEE and that he is not a product of the system which he says will lead South Africa into the same path as Zimbabwe.
During the launch of his much publicised book "Advocates of Poverty" Moeletsi describe how SADC was ruled by tyrants and used his famous quote "Africa was better governed during colonial rule than it is today". During the same press conference he slammed his brother, then President of SA as a vision-less leader who's economic policies did not benefit the majority and was leading the country on a path of self-destruction.
Moeletsi Mbeki may be a visionary who wants to see this country succeed and grow economically, he may be and answer to most of our problems for which the current government have no direction. In his statement during the lauch of yet another one of his books at the Cape Town Press Club Moeletsi again attacked the current government especially President Jacob Zuma in his address.
This is what Moeletsi said and I quote "The answer is that (President Jacob) Zuma does not have the capacity to deal with the challenges. There needs to be a reform of the electoral system, we need a competitive system in the country. Its up to us to avoid the bottom of the wall,"
It is also ironic that in the same address Moeletsi mentioned that the government should consider privitising supply of electricity and rail infrustructure (a field in which he is well experienced and has interests) and he also lauched another attack at the BEE system, Jacob Zuma, ANCYL and COSATU.
It is no surprise that Moeletsi like his brother Thabo Mbeki spend most of their young lives in exile and were educated in the most prestigious schools in England and that they both attended Harvard University most probably with funds from the ANC and donations while the majority of South Africans who stayed behind suffered the wrath of the apartheid government.
Moeletsi Mbeki has been a member and official in the ANC post apartheid and I believe he had an opportunity to put forward his ideas of a workable economy for our country let alone having had access to his brother while still president whom he should have engaged in order to push forward what he now calls the best economic policies that can help South Africa move forward.
I have no doubt that Moeletsi Mbeki has never experienced poverty and frankly his books are way to expensive for the poor to afford. But I believe Moeletsi Mbeki is continously using a wrong forum to address the most imperative of issues in our country and his ideas can be better used in the ruling party's policies. Moeletsi Mbeki owes service to the ANC and the poor people of this country for making him what he is today and I believe he can render that service by strengthening the ANC policy making structures and refrain from becoming a public critic of what his father has given his entire life to.
It is my conclusion that Moeletsi Mbeki wears many hats and everytime he lauches one of his books he makes sure that he wears the one that fits him best. The man is either a Hypocrite or a Visionary but one thing that I am definitely sure about that Moeletsi Mbeki is not is a PATRIOT.
Oxford Dictionary describes a Hypocrite as:
"a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements"

SABC 3 SHOCKING STATISTICS
According to SABC 3 News at 19:00 tonight "80% of the community of Oukasie Location in Brits, North West are HIV positive. As much as we recognise that the rate of HIV infections in SA is exceptionally high we also need to ensure that statistics that we publish are also accurrate and do not stigmatise a particular community as being a highly infected. I may not be qualified to dispute the accuracy of the report but from a lay-man's point of view it poses a lot of questions as to the source of the statistics which literally mean that 8 in every 10 citizens of that area are living with HIV.
I think this kind of reporting is irresponsible and undermines the Government's efforts in educating the public and dealing with the pandemic. And if the reports are accurate I'm prepared to swallow my words and walk the path of shame while at same time symphathising with the Oukasie residents. HIV and AIDS has led to many South Africans placing a stigma on it's sufferers and it is important that whenever we report about anything related to the decease we should be careful not to label any particular place as a haven for the virus.
It is my understanding that illiteracy and ignorance contribute a lot to the spread of HIV an AIDS which brings me to a point that the report means that the majority of Oukasie residents have been ignorant of all information regarding the spread of HIV and AIDS. Also the Health Department in Madibeng and the North West Province is not doing enough to educate the people in their communities about HIV and AIDS.
The News report was meant to focus on the continuation of the Nelson Mandela Week and the visit of donors to a shelter housing orphaned children in the area but it ended up publishing what I still believe is inaccurate statistics about the settlement's HIV and AIDS infection rate.
The small settlement of Oukasie is the birthplace of Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns top striker Katlego Mphela, the home of the late ANC stalward Billy Mashao, the birthplace of the now disbanded Harambee Womens Network, the scene of resistance against apartheid government's cruel Group Areas Act. Jay Naidoo, John Gomomo, Popo Molefe and many more politicians graced the area during their political puberty and learned a lot about fighting the system from the residents of Oukasie.
If the SABC News report is accurate then the government needs to start acting now to prevent any more infection and stop the erosion of the people of Oukasie. But if the report is inaccurate then the SABC owes the people of Oukasie an apology and the BCCSA must take the SABC to task and ensure that they stick to their commitment of giving the viewers "News that is accurate, Comment that is fair and Programming that is not harmful".
